Terms of Sale

These terms apply to orders placed on this website with Fondly ([Business legal name], "we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to them, together with our shipping, returns and refunds and privacy policies.

Your order

• You design a map on our website and approve the exact 3D model shown to you before you pay. That approved model is what we print.
• Your order is confirmed when payment succeeds and you receive a confirmation email with an order number.
• We may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund, if it can't be made (for example, if the area can't be printed) or if we suspect fraud.

Prices and payment

• Prices are in US dollars and include shipping within the United States. Any sales tax will be shown at checkout where it applies.
• Payment is taken in full when you order, through Stripe.
• The price charged is the one shown at checkout when you order.

The product

• Each map is 3D-printed in plastic (PLA) from open map data and framed. Building heights are real but scaled and gently exaggerated so every area reads clearly.
• The model reflects map data from OpenStreetMap contributors, Overture Maps Foundation, the U.S. Geological Survey and ESA WorldCover at the time it was made. It may not show very recent changes and may contain errors from that data.
• Maps are decorative. Don't rely on them for navigation, surveying, planning or any safety-related use.
• Minor print variations (layer lines, slight colour variation, simplified fine detail) are normal and not defects.

Your design and our designs

• The places you choose are your own choice; please don't order maps intended to harass or intrude on anyone.
• The website, the generator and the look of our maps belong to Fondly. Buying a map gives you the physical object; it doesn't give rights to the digital model files, which we don't sell.
• We may show photos of maps we've made, without personal details, as examples of our work.

Liability

If something goes wrong with your order, our responsibility is limited to reprinting the map or refunding what you paid for it. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], United States.
