Privacy Policy
Last updated October 6, 2026
- We collect only what we need to make and deliver your map.
- Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- We don't sell your information, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
This policy explains what information Fondly ([Business legal name], "we") collects through this website, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your design: the place, area and options you choose, saved as a design code. We keep the models built from designs so they open quickly next time.
- Order details: your name, email address, phone number and shipping address, collected at checkout.
- Payment: handled entirely by Stripe. We receive confirmation that you paid and the amount, but not your card details.
- Emails we send you: a record that order emails (confirmation, printing, shipped) were sent.
- Technical data: like every website, our server receives your IP address and browser details when you visit. We use these only to run and protect the site.
How we use it
- To make, frame and ship your order, and to email you about it.
- To answer your questions and handle reprints or refunds.
- To keep records required for tax and accounting.
We don't send marketing emails unless you've asked to receive them, and we don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
Services we use
Some parts of the site come from other providers, who receive the information they need to provide their service:
- Stripe processes payments (Stripe's privacy policy).
- Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS or FedEx) receive your name and address to deliver your order.
- Nominatim, run by the OpenStreetMap Foundation, receives the places you type into the map search.
- OpenFreeMap supplies the map tiles you see in the designer.
- Fonts and code libraries are loaded from Google Fonts and jsDelivr.
Cookies
This site doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. Stripe's checkout page sets its own cookies to process payments securely and prevent fraud.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for the order, reprints and warranty, and for tax and accounting obligations (typically up to 7 years). Design codes and the models built from them may be kept so designs can be reopened and reprinted.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We'll reply within 30 days. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
